Return to Monkey Island, Ron Gilbert’s surprise and thrilling return, is a continuation of his legendary adventures game The Secret of Monkey Island (and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge), which were co-developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.

It’s been years when Guybrush Threepwood was last locked in a war of words with his adversary, the zombie pirate LeChuck. Guybrush’s true love Elaine Marley has turned his interest away from his government. Guybrush has become unfulfilled and lost in the wilderness, having not found the Secret of Monkey Island. Hip, young pirate leaders under the leadership of Captain Madison have removed the older guard from power, Melee Island has taken a turn for the worse, and the well-known businessman Stan has been imprisoned for “marketing-related crime”.

Meet with old friends and make new ones on the familiar islands now under the control of a different, risky leader. Next, you will take out to sea and find out what’s new while trying to solve difficult problems. Clever puzzles, bizarre situations as well as devastating responses are the only things standing between Guybrush and success.
